Player 002

RPG Narrative Game

Tools: Unity, Google Doc, Microsoft Team

Contributions: Game and Level Design, Project Management

  • Designed all the levels, puzzles and boss fights in this game and ensure the levels were playable, in production quality and fit the theme of our game.

  • Created narratives that tie the puzzles and story together. 

  • Took the role of project manager by organizing meetings, setting up and reminding deadlines, and managing the Jira board and task lists to keep track of progress.

Timeline: 20 weeks

Descriptions:

Player 002 is an RPG Fantasy Adventure Game. The player plays as a professional gamer and saves his brother trapped in a game by solving puzzles.

Take-Aways:

  • Designed an RPG game prototype and always kept our scope and teams ability into consideration

  • The prototype was done as a team remotely

  • Leading a team and managing the overall team progress

  • Resolve team conflicts

  • Learned how to cooperate with other departments such as the narrative team, programming team, and art team.
