Female Cyborg

3D Character Modelling

Tools: Zbrush, Maya, Illustrator, Substance Painter

Contributions: 

  • 3D modelled a female cyborg based on reference images and a mood board using Zbrush and Maya

  • Worked on retopology of the model in Maya, resulting in a game engine standard model

  • Created a design proposal and wrote development logs along the way

  • Baked high poly mesh into low poly mesh and textured using Substance Painter

  • Hair Grooming in Maya's Xgen

Descriptions:

​3D modelled and redesigned a female cyborg using Zbrush and Maya. I worked on retopology an organic character in Maya and documented my design proposal and process using Illustrator and the production.

Take-Aways:

  • Learned modelling organic character and hard surfaces objects in Zbrush

  • Worked on the retopology of an organic character in Maya

  • UV mapped textured character using Maya and Substance Painter

  • Used Xgen to create hairstyles and generate hair cards
